Chris Horton (Principal)
In the late 1980s after a period of business ownership in the Tourism and Printing & Publishing fields, Chris joined the Insolvency & Corporate Recovery Division of Coopers & Lybrand in Auckland.
Five years with that office involved working with a wide spectrum of businesses.
A two-year secondment to Coopers & Lybrand Melbourne followed, where Victoria was restructuring its way out of the recession of the early 1990s. This secondment period involved an emphasis on construction company restructuring and receiverships.
On returning to New Zealand, Chris spent a further year with Coopers & Lybrand prior to pursuing a number of personal business interests. In 2001 Chris re-entered the insolvency and restructuring field as a specialist practitioner.
